1. Documents and driving
- Citizens and residents need valid identification, a driving licence and proof of address.
- Visitors need a valid passport, entry permission and an accepted driving licence.
- The driver must be at least 18 years old.
Car rental terms and guidance
This page explains the main requirements. The final price, insurance and rental details are recorded in the booking agreement before collection.
2. Deposit and insurance
- Indicative deposits: economy $200, SUV/family $300, and luxury $500 or model-specific.
- The deposit is returned after vehicle inspection and settlement of documented fines or damage.
3. Fuel and mileage
- Return the vehicle with the same fuel level recorded at collection.
- Mileage and inter-governorate travel must be agreed in the contract before departure.
4. Cancellation and extension
- Free cancellation is available at least 48 hours before collection.
- The return grace period is 60 minutes; extensions require prior approval.
5. Area of use and roadside help
- Direct service covers Erbil and Duhok; other cities require request and approval.
- Leaving Iraq or using unpaved off-road routes requires written permission.
6. Chauffeur service
- Service depends on an available licensed driver and advance booking.
- Route, hours and additional charges are confirmed in the offer and contract.
